Dear Loved Ones,
This week was transfers. Sister Sorensen and I are staying together whoo! But incidentally, out of fifteen other companionships in the zone, the missionaries in our ward are the only ones to not change. There was a lot of shuffling around, and a lot of the missionaries were asking about Tiffany! I didn't realize how many of them had been able to teach her briefly.
We dropped by on a whim and talked with her this past week. She invited us right in even though this was her work from home day and she is very busy. She said the more she had been thinking about her baptism, the more excited she became. She is SO excited to be a part of this Church, so excited to be a Christian...she is just on fire and wanting to learn about everything! We talked about faith and purity of heart, repentance, and all of the things that she desires which are so righteous...blessings baptism can bring.
It's so cool to see how conversion to the Lord really does happen in between lessons. How when the Spirit of the Lord is present, and ready to be accepted by an open heart, it really does change things. She really has her eye single to the Lord, and wants to follow Him that way. "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I know that if ye shall follow the Son, with full purpose of heart, acting no hypocrisy and no deception before God, but with real intent, repenting of your sins, witnessing unto the Father that ye are willing to take upon you the name of Christ, by baptism—yea, by following your Lord and your Savior down into the water, according to his word, behold, then shall ye receive the Holy Ghost; yea, then cometh the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost; and then can ye speak with the tongue of angels, and shout praises unto the Holy One of Israel."
Meanwhile Evelyn and Yihchun are still very stuck on the fact that the Book of Mormon mentions pre-Columbian horses in America. I think they really want to know the truth, but right now it's frustrating!
Love ya, But Jesus Loves Ya Best
Sister Pugmire
